Job Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years, with a strong focus on technical procurement within construction projects.
- Technical Skills: Ability to review, interpret, and analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and MS Office Suite.
- Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of sourcing strategies, contract management, Incoterms, and supplier evaluation.
- Industry Standards: Knowledge of local (UAE) and international standards relevant to the industry.
- Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential, with Arabic proficiency being an advantage.
- Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with contract types and subcontract agreements, specifically in construction.
